Be Theatre Goers…
Bromley Theatre Guild
During the pandemic all societies and the Guild have been affected by the restrictions introduced by the Government. However, we are already planning events for 2021 and we hope that by then we will be less restricted. Keep an eye on our news items or sign up to our newsletter to keep abreast of developments over the next six months. Our latest news can be seen here.
Bromley Theatre Guild provides a central point of contact and support for the member societies in the London Borough of Bromley. One of the ways it achieves this is The Bromley Theatre Guild Annual Full-Length Play Festival, which attracts many of our societies who take part each year.
Whether you’re new to the area, or have lived in Bromley for ages and have now decided to find out more about your local society, you will find a group of amateur dramatic societies that are always very welcoming towards new members.
There are societies in Beckenham, Bromley, Chiselhurst, Downe, Farnborough, Hayes, Orpington, Petts Wood and Pratts Bottom. In fact we are very lucky to have so many groups spread across the Bromley Borough.
The societies offer a range of shows including, Shakespeare, contemporary dramas, pantomime, the classics and much more. So, whether you have asperations of ‘treading the boards’ or are more inclined towards working on the technical aspects of a production, backstage or ‘front of house’ make yourself known and find out how you can become a truly valued member.
For a complete list of member societies, together with links to their websites, follow the Members link on the menu above.
