The feedback recently received from members concerning the various options for competitive and non-competitive one-act and full-length play festivals, indicated a split between the Full-Length Festival competitive and non-competitive options.
At a sub-committee meeting, attended by the undersigned, on 22nd April 2021, it was unanimously agreed that we relaunch the Full-Length Adjudicated Play Festival in 2022.
We currently have the funds to hold and promote such a festival.
We decided to relaunch with a format, which we have successfully tried and tested for many years. There will be the opportunity for the members to review how successful it has been after the competition next year.
We are asking members to support the Guild as it has done in the past and let us know by the end of September 2021 whether their society will enter the Festival. We hope this will give you time to seek the opinion of your society.
Please let Chris Williams know as soon as you are able whether you will be entering or not.
We will make a final decision to go ahead at the October Members meeting.
The terms and conditions of the Festival in 2022 will remain the same as in 2019.
We thank you in advance for your support.
