Bromley Theatre Guild provides a central point of contact and support for the member societies in the London Borough of Bromley. One of the ways it achieves this is The Bromley Theatre Guild Annual Full-Length Play Festival, which attracts many of our societies who take part each year.
Whether you’re new to the area or have lived in Bromley for ages and have now decided to find out more about your local society, you will find a group of amateur dramatic societies that are always very welcoming towards new members.
There are societies in Beckenham, Bromley, Chislehurst, Downe, Farnborough, Orpington, Petts Wood, Pratts Bottom and West Wickham. We are very lucky to have so many groups spread across Bromley Borough.
The societies offer a range of shows including, Shakespeare, contemporary dramas, pantomime, the classics and much more. So, whether you have aspirations of ‘treading the boards or are more inclined towards working on the technical aspects of a production, backstage or ‘front of house’ make yourself known and find out how you can become a truly valued member.
